Kannur Snapshots

Was in Kannur (also Cannanore) Kerala this past week, attending a wedding of a b-school batchmate. Kannur also happens to be my sis-in-law's hometown and this was my first visit. 3 other classmates descended on this little, beautiful corner of Kerala and much fun was had. If it wasn't for the fact that my camera batteries appear to discharge much faster than they normally should, much more photos would have been taken. Here's a glimpse.
Btw, did I say Kannur was beautiful?

From top to bottom:
Hotel Mascot (our little beach resort and 3-day abode) right on the water as seen from the Govt. Guest House walkway,
Ewa (another b-school batchmate) walking along the Drive-in beach 18km from Kannur on the Kannur - Calicut highway,
An aerial shot,
Sunset from the ramparts of St. Angelo's Fort,
Me on the Govt. Guesthouse walkway.

Its a wonderful place that needs to be filed alongside Wayanad, Thekkady, Munnar, Allepey, Kumarakom etc. as Need-to-Sees.

Btw, why aren't you putting a whole set up in your pbase?
